Dining at The Roxburghe

It is our pleasure to offer traditional Scottish breakfast, seasonally influenced lunches, delicious afternoon teas and gourmet dinner to our guests. Using homegrown produce of game from the Estate, salmon, wild mushrooms and freshly picked herbs from the garden, Roxburghe's new Head Chef Neville Merrin, is particular to ensure everything produced in his kitchen is fresh and home made.

All dishes are freshly prepared by the kitchen. Let us know about any allergies and dietary requirements and they will be happy to offer alternatives.

To complement this standard of food is a fine choice of wines including the Duke's selection from his own private cellar and an extensive whisky selection for the after dinner "dram".

Dining Room

The stylish Dining Room has won many awards over the years.

The large bay window overlooks the main lawn of the hotel - flowers in spring and croquet in summer.

In the winter, the log fire makes for a cosy atmosphere with the restaurant seating a maximum of 45 guests.

Our Market Menu changes daily and utilises the best of fresh local produce to create exciting and flavoursome dishes. Offered alongside our Teviot bar menu, we are proud to cater for both the traditional and the adventurous.

AfternoonTea at "The Roxburghe"

And if you're too late for lunch then remember we serve wonderful Afternoon Teas at Roxburghe Hotel - relax in style, savour our decadent and delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and teas of your choice.

Afternoon Tea is priced at £15 per person and served everyday from 3pm – 4.30pm.

 

Private Dining - The Roxburghe Room

Seating up to 16 guests, The Roxburghe Room provides a unique dining experience in a private room with a log fire and large sash windows overlooking the gardens.

Upon request breakfast, lunch or dinner may also be served in this room.
